I was so hoping at this point I would be under 200 pounds. Not yet, my body has decided it is comfortable where it is at! I also haven't been eating the greatest. Between working and sinus infections, I am wore out. I took a break from working out, a 5 day break.....I figured my body could use the rest. It felt good to run again yesterday. Running is one of my favorite things to do. I wish my body agreed with my heart and mind.
Weight loss is 33.8 pounds so far. I am just 1 pound away from my second goal of being under 200 lbs. Maybe this will be the week I finally am out of the 200's. I was kind of bummed the other day when trying on summer clothes from my closet. You know how you have the expectation that losing weight will make all your clothes suddenly feel better? Well, that wasn't the case. My summer pants from last year still fit pretty much the same. So apparently my weight loss is not coming off my legs and hips! hahaha!
I haven't done a photo shoot of myself in awhile either. I need to do something soon. My heart has been wanting to paint..that usually happens when I am really sad. I just want to sit and paint all day. Life hasn't exactly gone as planned, of course, I don't think it ever does. We are just suppose to embrace the life curves, even if it is at 100 miles an hour. I was hoping for change this year, I don't know, something different. I haven't traveled anywhere in a long time and of course, my fiance and I's Chicago trip is a no go this year. I am pretty upset about it. We have gone the past 3 years together. It's pretty much our time away and I get to spend some much needed quality time with him, even though he grumbles about all the lovey dovey crap....haha---plus we get to get away from everything for just a few days. I may have to find somewhere to go, even if it's just for a day or two......
Here is the painting I am working on as of now...........and the journey continues!
"Writing is a form of therapy; sometimes I wonder how all those who do not write, compose or paint can manage to escape the madness, melancholia, the panic and fear which is inherent in a human situation." ~Graham Greene
